The Office of the President and CEO of The West Indian Company Limited has responsibilities as a managing director, decision maker, leader, and executor. The Office has the responsibility of the organization’s management and employees, to motivate and drive changes within the organization on a day-to-day, month-to-month, and year-to-year basis.
The Office provides overall direction and coordination of the company as well as assists in maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the shareholders, other key government departments and other partners. It is responsible for the management and budget of the overall administration of the company and ensures compliance to procedures and policies of the company.

Accounting Division
The purpose of the Account Department is to provide the company with efficient and effective service
through the use of accounting procedures.
This is accomplished with emphasis on quality, service and satisfaction
both internally and externally.

C/L/M Division
The Director of Property Management is responsible for protecting, maintaining and enhancing the value of The WICO property assets in order to maximize the benefit to its visitors, tenants and the community. The Director of Property Management directs the day-to-day operations pertaining to construction on, leasing of and maintenance to The WICO's real property and properties that The WICO has been contracted to manage.
The WICO has been and continues to be a large landowner and at the center of commerce in the territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands with the ownership of several parcels including the Governor’s mansion located on Denmark Hill, Est. Catherinsberg and the cruise ship dock located in Havensight which has approximately 1 ½ million visitors yearly.
The C/L/M division also manages the Havensight Mall which is owned by the Government Employees Retirement System (GERS) and voted the Best Shopping Center in St. Thomas.

Marine Division
The Marine Department is tasked with coordinating cruise ship traffic calling on The WICO and maintaining the marine infrastructure.
This entails processing berthing requests two years in advance, conducting the mooring operations on berthing dates and producing a master ship schedule of all cruise ship traffic calling on the St. Thomas / St. John district.

Security Division
The West Indian Company Limited (WICO) employs its own security personnel who secures property in order to guard against fire, theft, illegal entry and other unsolicited incidents by patrolling the Mall and Dock area randomly. In addition, security cameras are monitored by the WICO security personnel offering additional surveillance of the property 24 hours a day.
The WICO Dock is a port of call and not a terminal facility; however, there is a gated perimeter with manned security for the screening of foot traffic. Shore –side security is conducted by roving patrol around the property. The secured and restricted areas of the dock are barricaded by iron stanchions, steel fencing and rails to prevent wheeled traffic from freely approaching the ships.
Only persons conducting ships' business and displaying authorized picture ID and Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) cards will be allowed inside the secured and/or restricted area. Security personnel have the authority to challenge any person inside this area. Security complies with federal regulations and restrictions relative to company operations.
